Also, recent studies have shown that most diesel generators on sites, run at 25%-50% loads which is a super inefficient use of fuel. We are very proud to have solved these issues with our ultra portable light tower. Designed to be charged up from the grid or used in conjunction with any generator on site, the MX_GreenLantern_210ah_3k breaks down easily and can be transported in a truck, without having to pay extra for a specialised trailer. By plugging in to a diesel generator during the day, the generator can run at higher load ratings (more efficient) for a couple of hours to charge up the battery banks. Want to eventually go 100% green(you should) and avoid fuel expense and emissions? You can always upgrade the unit with an 800 Watt PV array for an additional $1,520.
This particular MX-GreenLantern-3k configuration includes 2x BB-7780 battery banks for 10.8kw of battery storage. Assuming a 10 hour light operation at night, that’s enough stored energy to power the light tower for 15 hours straight (1.5 working nights) without solar harvesting. The four 10,000 Lumen LED light fixtures, only draw 680 Watts of power and sit atop a 20ft mast.
